This guy grabbed my attention because of what you find at the end.

But of course, I have to build a case.

He’s arrogant

He’s trying to make believe – he is all that  .

OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Washington gubernatorial candidate Rob McKenna said Tuesday he will not release any of his tax returns, dismissing the matter as a distraction from important policy discussions.

McKenna, the state's attorney general, said he has disclosed enough information in the personal financial forms that candidates file with the state. He called the tax-return debate - both here and nationally - a "phony issue."

“Rob McKenna has told the tea party, ‘I represent you.’ He called the unionization of state employees ‘dangerous.’ He wants to put working families at risk by privatizing worker’s compensation. He keynoted an [American Legislative Exchange Council] event in Olympia, embracing the same far-right ideology as Scott Walker. The similarities are many, but the biggest difference is that Scott Walker won his race and Rob McKenna won’t,” said Inslee spokeswoman Jaime Smith.

Today was a big day for Attorney General Rob McKenna, 

Sonntag announced that he is creating an Open Government Task Force with Attorney General Rob McKenna to continue this discussion. The purpose of the new task force is to study and make recommendations on the creation of an administrative board to rule on complaints of violations regarding the state’s open government laws. The task force meetings are scheduled for Oct. 5 and Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Attorney General’s Office in Olympia.

Whether it is the PDC or an independent open government ombudsman, citizens and government would benefit from an independent entity charged with enforcing the state’s open government laws while also providing training and assistance.

OLYMPIA — Attorney General Rob McKenna today issued the following statement about joining a multi-state lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the recently-approved federal health care measure, once it is signed into law.

“I believe this new federal health care measure unconstitutionally imposes new requirements on our state and on its citizens. This unprecedented federal mandate, requiring all Washingtonians to purchase health insurance, violates the Commerce Clause and the 10th amendment of the US Constitution.

“I’m concerned that the measure unconstitutionally requires all Washingtonians to purchase health insurance and places an extraordinary burden on our state budget by requiring Washington to expand its Medicaid eligibility standards in violation of our state’s rights guaranteed under the10th amendment.”

And like Scott Walker – he wants to make Washington “Open for Business”

OLYMPIA (Jan. 29)—“We must no longer allow Washington to be one of the ten most expensive states in which to operate a business,” says Republican State Attorney General Rob McKenna, as he makes his case for why he should be elected governor this fall. 

The Tax Foundation report is one of many that measure corporate taxes, regulation and other factors in determining which states are the “best for business,” and Washington consistently ranks among the best. 

Even when it doesn’t need to be.

It’s a meme that continues today as gubernatorial candidate McKenna says our state’s high costs for workers’ compensation are why he supports allowing private insurance companies to sell workers’ comp coverage in Washington. (That idea was soundly rejected by the state’s voters, 59-41, in 2010.)

And he’s into “privatization”.

But – he says he’s not Scott Walker.

The first 20 seconds only, maybe

Anyone who was around when Scott Walker ran for governor – remembers Walker saying exactly what McKenna is saying on this tape.

But he sure looks like a Scott Walker mini-me.

Anyone who has read Scott Walkers SB1and SB2 – can verify for you – that all though Walker never talked about it – he implemented McKenna’s six points in SB1and SB2.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck,  and walks like a duck – it’s probably a duck.
