LANSING, Iowa (AP) — Northeast Iowa authorities are investigating a shooting where a 27-year-old man injured himself.
The Allamakee County Sheriff's office says the incident happened about 4:30 a.m. Sunday at a home near Lansing.
Authorities say Logan Bunn fired a gun at a tree outside the home, but the bullet bounced back and hit him.
Police were notified after Bunn showed up at a La Crosse hospital. Bunn is expected to survive.
The sheriff's office says no foul play is suspected.
