Stand Your Ground WAS an Issue

There are lots and lots of people who are saying that "stand your ground" was not an issue in the Trayvon Martin case.
WRONG

Not only was George Zimmerman roaming the streets for 44 days after he killed Trayvon Martin - because of Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law.

You have the  Florida "Stand Your Ground" law being headlined across the nation for months after the murder of TRaycon Martin.
You would have had to be living under a rock - not to be exposed to Florida's "Stand Your Ground" law, especially in Florida.

No change of venue was requested - the trial was held in  "Stand Your Ground" Florida with  "Stand Your Ground" Floridians probably on the jury.

    If George Zimmerman was not engaged in an unlawful activity and was attacked in anyplace where he had a right to be, he had no duty to retreat and had the right to stand his ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he reasonably believed that it was necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony

UPDATE
And then there is this:

    JUROR: It became very confusing. We had stuff thrown at us. We had the second-degree murder charge, the manslaughter charge, then we had self-defense, Stand Your Ground, and I think there was one other one.
