I strongly recommend that you read it
>>>>HERE<<<<
It may explain what happened in your state - without your knowledge.
It will help you better understand that what the right is doing - is WRONG.
But what I want readers to know is ALEC's role.
This image is enough to make me sick - knowing that ALEC state legislators have the ability to do things in secret at ALEC meetings - out of the eye of the general public and then after the ALEC meetings to continue their discussion through on-going private, secretive correspondence between members of the American Legislative Exchange Council, pushing ALEC's extremists policies - such as this document from PR Watch archives:

ALEC NEWS!
Tell me folks - when are we going to wake up and stop the destruction caused by the American Legislative Exchange Council to our representative government of, for, by the people.
Your voice needs to be heard to say STOP ALEC!
And a blog entry today – kinda says it all (my emphasis).
The Wisconsin effort to attack unions, and cut taxes tobusiness and the wealthy has been front page news. What is not generally realized is that ALEC legislation, similar to that in Wisconsin has been introduced in Arizona, California, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Vermont. This is not government of, by, and for the people!… I believe the wealthy and Corporate America are running our federal government, and our Supreme Court. It was a shock to me to learn that they are apparently also running our state legislatures using the Republican members of ALEC.TOGETHER WE CAN take back our state and federal governments and turn America around to again have a government of, by, and for the PEOPLE.
