Move Your Money Mondays
This was mentioned in a DKos diary and I think it is a great idea for those who could not get their bank transfers done by November 5th.
Choose a Monday - any Monday - and move your money to a community bank or a credit union - where 100% of your deposit will go into helping others in the community - rather than paying obscene bankster bonuses at the end of the year.

Like some of you – once in awhile it takes me longer to do the right thing than I would like to admit. You know how it is – you think about the pros and cons and the pros just aren’t compelling enough to make you take action – even if the cons are egregious in their very being.
The Daily Kos diary refernced in the quote above has been sitting with me since I first read the initial diary. Since I don’t have the greatest faith in credit unions – based on the fact that over 90 percent belong to a member organization of the American Legislative Exchange Council. I am leaning more towards favoring a small town bank. (See my entry on credit unions and ALEC)
Is it going to be convenient – hell no.
And that’s the main “con” that has kept me from doing the right thing – procrastination can be a very nasty thing when it comes to supporting your political ideals.
But at some point in your life – you have to stick to your principles regardless of how inconvenient it is for you.
On November 5 – I will move my checking from TCF Banks and here are a few of the reasons why I encourage people to do this.

I got a hunch I’m missing something big here – cause I’m not finding enough money from the TCF PAC to right wing candidates – there’s got to be more money spent out there. Cooper (the TCF CEO) has got to be funneling more money to the GOP through some other means.
