UT Voters - To Tell ALEC - "GET OUT"

This summer in Utah:

  

Now during the elections Utah voters are saying

 “Get out of Utah”

to ALEC.

Utah got to see first hand how ALEC

Keeps journalists out of their secret meetings

Lies to the public about ALEC intent

Lobbyists wine and dine state legislators in a posh hotel.

If Utah's legislators would have been focused on the PEOPLE instead of corporate gain, the recent approval of the tar sands oil project in Utah would never have been brought forward or approved.

Utah voters have decided that legislators from the American Legislative Exchange Council do not represent the people of Utah.  The citizens of Utah have decided that they don’t want Utah to become the next ALEC Arizona.

Projections show that Utah voters will kick ALEC legislators out of office in the upcoming elections.
