CBS News - Spreads ALEC Propaganda

Talk about one-sided horse-shit reporting.
The only thing it can represent is CBS spreading one-sided ALEC propoganda
becausetheycan.

I wonder how much this "so-called news article" cost  the new PR firm for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) -  Edelman
- musta paid a pretty price for this
- or maybe the Koch brothers.

Remove all objects near your computer - sit on your hands after you click the link and be prepared to get pissed off.

Check this out

For Rogers and his ideological cohorts across the country, ALEC remains a powerful resource. He said, "I think ALEC is perfectly positioned to be the pre-eminent legislative force in the country."

Here's the video link
http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7413448n

Been waiting for over a year for the main stream media (MSM) to start reporting on ALEC - and finally when they do - they crawl in bed with the son-of-a-bitches.
DAMN!

UPDATE:  Sunday morning
Finally realized this was on the national news last night - when I found it I wasn't sure where it had been broadcast - the national news.  This little piece of "unfair and unbalanced news" has been picked up across the United States and across the world.

Conflicting reports this morning some calling this a good report on ALEC - There is not such thing as a good report on ALEC - when it is one-sided and only serves as an advertisement for ALEC.

Spreading ALEC lies - that it all this report does - spread lies - my emphasis:
What ALEC does for legislators is create model bills mostly on fiscal issues that are templates for 800 to 1,000 bills introduced in the 50 state legislatures every year. ALEC has claimed to members that 20 percent its bills become laws.

Simply telling the person who is taking your vote who you are is not much of a burden, and at the end of the day, if you're allowing one person to vote illegally, you've just cancelled out my vote," Rogers said. "It's really common sense - if you are going to vote, tell us who you are."

Rogers said ALEC was leaving its advocacy on those more controversial issues in the past.

"We have a re-focus, and it's strictly going to be specifically on these fiscal issues - limited government, deregulation, lowering government spending, getting rid of debt. ALEC has already made that decision," he said.

The lies - now on mainstream media.
The sheeple will believe this and not question it - cause CBS gave them no reason to question it.
They just gave the ALEC talking points to America nd the world.

Some seemed please that Common Cause was "mentioned" on CBS - why in the hell weren't they interviewed for this story?  Why in the hell wasn't CMD interviewed for this story.

CBS put an ALEC member on the tube and did not challenge what he said by any other source.

Some may call that good reporting - I call it ALEC propaganda - that the whole nation has now seen.

Musta made the right wing base extremely happy to see another one of their hacks getting prime time.

Let's kiss the butt of the MSM because they finally "mentioned" ALEC?
Bullshit!
This was no better than a report on Faux GOP News.  In fact GOP TV - Faux news, can pretty much cut and paste most everything from this CBS "interview" for their viewers.

The only way this piece will make me happy is if
- it is followed up with a one hour scathing expose on Sixty Minutes
- which won't happen.

Now - here's the other side of the story - 12 minutes
Not shown on main stream TV
ALEC = Obvious and Organized Corruption

This stupid CBS report on ALEC - brought a search into my blog that was looking for an answer for the question
What Democratic groups are similar to ALEC?
The answer:
NONE!
Almost all Democrats believe in our democratic republic - represesntation of, by, and for the people;
NOT representation of, by, and for the corporations - which is the purpose of the American legislative Exchange council "model" legislation.

KOCH's AFP - Lying About Obamacare

Yesterday and today there has been a lot of talk about why Roberts was the deciding vote for Obamacare.

If you look at the right-wing sites – they are eating him alive.  Parasites eating their own.

Some say he did it because he has a pre-existing condition – epilepsy – and understands the situation.

But today on the Thom Hartmann show a guy named Fletcher called in said that Roberts voted that way in order to get the base on the right activated and invigorated for the election this fall.

I think he may be correct.

Tonight in Minneapolis – on the right-wing TV stations they are already playing an ad from the Koch Brothers Americans for Prossperity that is horrendous.

You can watch it here – I won’t put that Koch funded trash on my blog and I won't link you to the AFP page to watch it.  The link takes you to youtube.

Please note that by playing this clip You Tube and Google will place a long-term cookie on your computer. Please see You Tube’s privacy statement on their website and Google’s privacy statement on theirs to learn more. To view the ACLU’s privacy statement, click here.

IF this is meant to get the right wing base motivated we need to know the talking points – because the left is spreading lies as can be seen in the ad by the Koch brothers Americans for Prosperity.

They are spreading the lies – we must counter with the truth.
DO YOU KNOW THE TRUTH?????

Here are the key talking points about Obamacare.
They are located on a webpage name  HEALTHCARE.GOV

Please sshare them with everyone and anyone – so we can tell people the truth to counter the millions of dollars being spent by the KOCH brothers to spread LIES.

Already in Effect
2010
  Putting Information for Consumers Online.
The law provides for an easy-to-use website where consumers can compare health insurance coverage options and pick the coverage that works for them. Effective July 1, 2010.

The health care law includes new rules to prevent insurance companies from denying coverage to children under the age of 19 due to a pre-existing condition. Effective for health plan years beginning on or after September 23, 2010 for new plans and existing group plans.

In the past, insurance companies could search for an error, or other technical mistake, on a customer’s application and use this error to deny payment for services when he or she got sick. The health care law makes this illegal. After media reports cited incidents of breast cancer patients losing coverage, insurance companies agreed to end this practice immediately. Effective for health plan years beginning on or after September 23, 2010.

Already in Effect

Eliminating Lifetime Limits on Insurance Coverage.
Under the law, insurance companies will be prohibited from imposing lifetime dollar limits on essential benefits, like hospital stays. Effective for health plan years beginning on or after September 23, 2010.

Regulating Annual Limits on Insurance Coverage.
Under the law, insurance companies’ use of annual dollar limits on the amount of insurance coverage a patient may receive will be restricted for new plans in the individual market and all group plans. In 2014, the use of annual dollar limits on essential benefits like hospital stays will be banned for new plans in the individual market and all group plans. Effective for health plan years beginning on or after September 23, 2010.

Already in Effect

  Appealing Insurance Company Decisions.
The law provides consumers with a way to appeal coverage determinations or claims to their insurance company, and establishes an external review process. Effective for new plans beginning on or after September 23, 2010.

Establishing Consumer Assistance Programs in the States.
Under the law, states that apply receive federal grants to help set up or expand independent offices to help consumers navigate the private health insurance system. These programs help consumers file complaints and appeals; enroll in health coverage; and get educated about their rights and responsibilities in group health plans or individual health insurance policies. The programs will also collect data on the types of problems consumers have, and file reports with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to identify trouble spots that need further oversight. Grants Awarded October 2010. Learn more about Consumer Assistance Programs.

IMPROVING QUALITY AND LOWERING COSTS
Providing Small Business Health Insurance Tax Credits.
Up to 4 million small businesses are eligible for tax credits to help them provide insurance benefits to their workers. The first phase of this provision provides a credit worth up to 35% of the employer’s contribution to the employees’ health insurance. Small non-profit organizations may receive up to a 25% credit. Effective now.

Offering Relief for 4 Million Seniors Who Hit the Medicare Prescription Drug “Donut Hole.”
An estimated four million seniors will reach the gap in Medicare prescription drug coverage known as the “donut hole” this year. Each eligible senior will receive a one-time, tax free $250 rebate check. First checks mailed in June, 2010, and will continue monthly throughout 2010 as seniors hit the coverage gap. Learn more about the "donut hole" and Medicare.

Already in Effect

  Providing Free Preventive Care.
All new plans must cover certain preventive services such as mammograms and colonoscopies without charging a deductible, co-pay or coinsurance. Effective for health plan years beginning on or after September 23, 2010. Learn more about preventive care benefits. See the full list of covered preventive services.

  Preventing Disease and Illness.
A new $15 billion Prevention and Public Health Fund will invest in proven prevention and public health programs that can help keep Americans healthy – from smoking cessation to combating obesity. Funding begins in 2010. See prevention funding and grants in your state.

Cracking Down on Health Care Fraud.
Current efforts to fight fraud have returned more than $2.5 billion to the Medicare Trust Fund in fiscal year 2009 alone. The new law invests new resources and requires new screening procedures for health care providers to boost these efforts and reduce fraud and waste in Medicare, Medicaid, and CHIP. Many provisions effective now. Fact Sheet: New Tools to Fight Fraud.

IMPROVING QUALITY AND LOWERING COSTS
  Linking Payment to Quality Outcomes.
The law establishes a hospital Value-Based Purchasing program (VBP) in Traditional Medicare. This program offers financial incentives to hospitals to improve the quality of care. Hospital performance is required to be publicly reported, beginning with measures relating to heart attacks, heart failure, pneumonia, surgical care, health-care associated infections, and patients’ perception of care. Effective for payments for discharges occurring on or after October 1, 2012.

  Encouraging Integrated Health Systems.
The new law provides incentives for physicians to join together to form “Accountable Care Organizations.” These groups allow doctors to better coordinate patient care and improve the quality, help prevent disease and illness and reduce unnecessary hospital admissions. If Accountable Care Organizations provide high quality care and reduce costs to the health care system, they can keep some of the money that they have helped save. Effective January 1, 2012. Fact Sheet: Improving Care Coordination for People with Medicare. Watch a video to learn more about Accountable Care Organizations.

  Reducing Paperwork and Administrative Costs.
Health care remains one of the few industries that relies on paper records. The new law will institute a series of changes to standardize billing and requires health plans to begin adopting and implementing rules for the secure, confidential, electronic exchange of health information. Using electronic health records will reduce paperwork and administrative burdens, cut costs, reduce medical errors and most importantly, improve the quality of care. First regulation effective October 1, 2012. Learn how the law improves the health care system for providers, professionals, and patients.

  Understanding and Fighting Health Disparities.
To help understand and reduce persistent health disparities, the law requires any ongoing or new federal health program to collect and report racial, ethnic and language data. The Secretary of Health and Human Services will use this data to help identify and reduce disparities. Effective March 2012.

INCREASING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE CARE
Providing New, Voluntary Options for Long-Term Care Insurance.
The law creates a voluntary long-term care insurance program – called CLASS -- to provide cash benefits to adults who become disabled.  Note: On October 14, 2011, Secretary Sebelius transmitted a report and letter to Congress stating that the Department does not see a viable path forward for CLASS implementation at this time. View a copy of the CLASS report. Read about the original CLASS proposal.

2013
IMPROVING QUALITY AND LOWERING COSTS
  Improving Preventive Health Coverage.
To expand the number of Americans receiving preventive care, the law provides new funding to state Medicaid programs that choose to cover preventive services for patients at little or no cost. Effective January 1, 2013. Learn more about the law and preventive care.

  Expanding Authority to Bundle Payments.
The law establishes a national pilot program to encourage hospitals, doctors, and other providers to work together to improve the coordination and quality of patient care.  Under payment “bundling,” hospitals, doctors, and providers are paid a flat rate for an episode of care rather than the current fragmented system where each service or test or bundles of items or services are billed separately to Medicare.  For example, instead of a surgical procedure generating multiple claims from multiple providers, the entire team is compensated with a “bundled” payment that provides incentives to deliver health care services more efficiently while maintaining or improving quality of care.  It aligns the incentives of those delivering care, and savings are shared between providers and the Medicare program. Effective no later than January 1, 2013.

INCREASING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE CARE
Increasing Medicaid Payments for Primary Care Doctors.
As Medicaid programs and providers prepare to cover more patients in 2014, the Act requires states to pay primary care physicians no less than 100% of Medicare payment rates in 2013 and 2014 for primary care services. The increase is fully funded by the federal government. Effective January 1, 2013. Learn how the law supports and strengthens primary care providers.

Providing Additional Funding for the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
Under the law, states will receive two more years of funding to continue coverage for children not eligible for Medicaid. Effective October 1, 2013. Learn more about CHIP.

2014
NEW CONSUMER PROTECTIONS
Prohibiting Discrimination Due to Pre-Existing Conditions or Gender.
The law implements strong reforms that prohibit insurance companies from refusing to sell coverage or renew policies because of an individual’s pre-existing conditions. Also, in the individual and small group market, the law eliminates the ability of insurance companies to charge higher rates due to gender or health status. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions.

Eliminating Annual Limits on Insurance Coverage.
The law prohibits new plans and existing group plans from imposing annual dollar limits on the amount of coverage an individual may receive. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn how the law will phase out annual limits by 2014.

Ensuring Coverage for Individuals Participating in Clinical Trials.
Insurers will be prohibited from dropping or limiting coverage because an individual chooses to participate in a clinical trial.  Applies to all clinical trials that treat cancer or other life-threatening diseases. Effective January 1, 2014.

IMPROVING QUALITY AND LOWERING COSTS
  Making Care More Affordable.
Tax credits to make it easier for the middle class to afford insurance will become available for people with income between 100% and 400% of the poverty line who are not eligible for other affordable coverage. (In 2010, 400% of the poverty line comes out to about $43,000 for an individual or $88,000 for a family of four.) The tax credit is advanceable, so it can lower your premium payments each month, rather than making you wait for tax time. It’s also refundable, so even moderate-income families can receive the full benefit of the credit. These individuals may also qualify for reduced cost-sharing (copayments, co-insurance, and deductibles). Effective January 1, 2014. Learn how the law will make care more affordable in 2014.

  Establishing Affordable Insurance Exchanges.
Starting in 2014 if your employer doesn’t offer insurance, you will be able to buy it directly in an Affordable Insurance Exchange.  An Exchange is a new transparent and competitive insurance marketplace where individuals and small businesses can buy affordable and qualified health benefit plans.  Exchanges will offer you a choice of health plans that meet certain benefits and cost standards.  Starting in 2014, Members of Congress will be getting their health care insurance through Exchanges, and you will be able buy your insurance through Exchanges too. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about Exchanges.

Increasing the Small Business Tax Credit.
The law implements the second phase of the small business tax credit for qualified small businesses and small non-profit organizations. In this phase, the credit is up to 50% of the employer’s contribution to provide health insurance for employees.  There is also up to a 35% credit for small non-profit organizations.  Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about the small business tax credit.

INCREASING ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE CARE
  Increasing Access to Medicaid.
Americans who earn less than 133% of the poverty level (approximately $14,000 for an individual and $29,000 for a family of four) will be eligible to enroll in Medicaid. States will receive 100% federal funding for the first three years to support this expanded coverage, phasing to 90% federal funding in subsequent years. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about Medicaid.

  Promoting Individual Responsibility.
Under the law, most individuals who can afford it will be required to obtain basic health insurance coverage or pay a fee to help offset the costs of caring for uninsured Americans.  If affordable coverage is not available to an individual, he or she will be eligible for an exemption. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about individual responsibility and the law.

  Ensuring Free Choice.
Workers meeting certain requirements who cannot afford the coverage provided by their employer may take whatever funds their employer might have contributed to their insurance and use these resources to help purchase a more affordable plan in the new health insurance Exchanges. Effective January 1, 2014. Learn more about coming improvements for small businesses

ALEC - An Affront tor Democracy

From almost a year ago.
Brought to our attention again this morning  from a tweet feed.
Well worth 3 minutes of your time to read.

Some snips:
Essentially, ALEC's purpose is to pass laws that enrich corporate profits and investor returns by starving the government of revenue, rigging elections and union busting.

By creating a unique legal grey area between lobbying for laws and writing laws, ALEC has enabled the plundering of our state coffers, leaving our tax dollars and public services at the mercy of corporate executives who aren't held accountable by the democratic process.

We should heed both Lincoln's and Mussolini's words, and not be afraid to point out fascism when we see it. ALEC's work is an affront to democracy,

Can’t help wondering – how long do we have to point out how dangerous the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is to our democracy before those in power – who have real power – step up to the plate to help us eliminate this blight on our democracy.

ALEC PR Strategy - How's That Working Out For Ya?

Ya know – this morning brought about an interesting find.
This was posted on a webpage named the Conservative Patriot.
YESTERDAY

This web posting from yesterday falls almost three months after the launch of a webpage that is described last month as:
Two months after it was first announced, the "I Stand With ALEC" website supporting the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has finally gone live -- and it is underwhelming.

So when I read this snip from the webpage of the Conservative Patriot webpage
from YESTERDAY
 – needless to say I am a little more than a bit skeptical
Here it is:
Now, it’s arguable whether or not it’s because of the lefties online pressure campaign (probably not, in most cases), but they’re taking credit for it anyhow.  Which is why Grover Norquist and I set up a companion online petition website in SUPPORT of ALEC.

To join us and support pro-business public policies, please go to www.IStandwithALEC.com and sign the petition supporting ALEC today.

The posting is by Lee R Gibbons and I found out the following about Mr. Gibbons –
I am a native of Mobile, Alabama have lived in California for over 40 years and now reside in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

After sustaining 2 strokes, one in 1995 and the other in 1998, I retired from the Collection Agency business. I have been a jack of many trades as I drove racing cars, played professional/semi professional football, owned and operated an automobile dealership, was the CEO/CFO of an Industrial Security firm, and ran a Republican Congressional campaign.

I am now an Ordained non-denominational Christian Minister and e mail an estimated 80 Sunday Sermons weekly to many home-bound Christians that are unable to travel to church.

I am a person that gets involved by writing Letters to the Editor about political matters and manage to have an average of two (2) printed monthly in the Las Vegas Sun. This 'rag' is most Liberal and I enjoy reading the almost rabid responses to my letters.

“Grover Norquist and I set up a companion online petition website”
He is working with ALEC member Grover Norquist – really?

Bless his soul –
– gotta be in a big $$$$ league to get that distinction
– or a really important ALEC member.

Not to disparage Mr. Gibbons
– but maybe he’s been standing in the Nevada sun for an hour or two longer than he should have.

Or maybe
– Grover Norquist and
– ALEC and
– Edelman, their new PR firm
are getting really, really , really desperate

The over two month old ALEC/Edelman PR campaign
“How’s that hopey-changey thing working out for ya?”

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Get Over it Minnesota - Carlson is ALEC ALUMNI!

My third post on this - maybe the last, maybe not!

As it would be with any post that you put out onto the internet – there are going to be those who have a different opinion about how you see the world.

Today’s post goes back to ALEC ALUMNI and possibly current member Arne Carlson.
Hopefully I can put this to rest after this post – but I doubt it cause, people don’t want to hear anything bad about good ol’ Arne – whereas they will openly and freely trash almost most of the other governors at the drop of a hat.  Carlson is not all that.

Carlson is a Republican who was and possibly could still be active in ALEC and because of that – to me he is the scum of the earth.  Who knows - Carlson may have one of those $5,000 ALEC "Legacy Members" - a LIFETIME membership - that was just exposed on Daily Kos.

A friend of a friend forwarded me this email she received from an acquaintance, after a evening that included a discussion that involved Carlson’s ALEC membership - becauseshecould and  knew I would post something becauseican

The email is really only regarding Arne Carlson (MN-ALEC) and the voter ID issue – and someone trying to defend poor ol' ALEC Alumni Arne. [edited/redacted to protect the innocent and naive]

After the evening was over last night, I found these two references to Arne Carlson denouncing MN's Voter Id Amendment and pointing out that it was from the Koch brothers. Maybe he, like at least one other MN legislator I know, joined ALEC to see what was going on and then left immediately or at least as soon as they found out what ALEC was all about.  Is it possible that ALEC is using his name to give themselves some credibiilty? Just a thought...Anyway, here are the links to the reports of his denunciation and a audio of him actually saying the words.

Audio of the WCCO radio program of him denouncing voter id:

Arne Carlson denouncing MN's Voter Id Amendment and pointing out that it was from the Koch brothers.
YES and that is all - the only thing - Arne does
– that is the ONLY important thing that he does in either of those clips - the ONLY important thing.

As I noted in yesterday's post about Carlson - the statement by the reporter that Carlson “blames” ALEC in the startribune article is NOT A QUOTE from Carlson – it is only the reporters interpretation.  There is NO PROOF that Carlson blames ALEC for the Voter ID  in that article or the radio interview.

Carlson denounces Voter ID.
Carlson states that the Koch’s are involved.
Carlson states that ALEC is involved.

HE SHOULD KNOW!!!!
He's ALEC ALUMNI.

Carlson DOES NOT acknowledge his ALEC ties
Carlson  DOES NOT denounce ALEC.

He only denounces Voter ID.

Is he being used by ALEC?
Hell no.

Did he try ALEC and walk away?
HELL NO!
Carlson helped get ALEC off the ground – up and running and then stuck around and made sure it flourished for over two decades.
He was still being listed as an “ALEC LEADER in the States" in 2005.
If he didn’t want his name on that list
– he sure as hell would have had it removed
– when he was on that same list, four years earlier, in 2001.
MORE than two f#cking decades as an ACTIVE ALEC member or ALEC participant.
             - did he try it out - Hell yes for almost 1/2 of his life.
Carlson was one of the legislators actively participated in ALEC as it grew into the heinous despicable - anti-American, anti democracy monster that it is.
Carlson was part of the formative years.

Again I post all the ALEC literature that supports Carlson's  connection to the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).
AND I will NOT be swayed by Arne Carlson – UNTIL I hear him PUBLICLY request that Minnesota legislators quit ALEC.

If he PUBLICLY tells Minnesota legislators to DUMP ALEC
– then maybe I may start to think that Arne Carlson is not the right wing extremist I believe him to be
– based on his MANY DECADE membership and affiliation with ALEC – including the founding years.

In 2001 and 2005 Carlson was listed in the Alumni section of the ALEC Leaders of States.

In 1995 – He was a confirmed speaker for the ALEC Annual Meeting  (Paul Weyrich was a confirmed speaker that year also.)

In 1997 – He was a keynote speaker at the ALEC Annual Meeting
In 1998 – in the ALEC 25th Annual Meeting materials he was noted as "those who were involved in ALEC in its first few years" - we're talking 20 - 25 years of involvement at that point!

AND
THIS
FOLKS
is what it is all about!

…  recent developments in Pennsylvania and Wisconsin show that Republicans are counting on voter ID laws to deliver the presidency to Mitt Romney in 2012.

"Voter ID is going to allow Gov. Romney to win"

This week, the House Majority Leader in the Pennsylvania Congress, Rep. Mike Turzai (R), made headlines when he explained the reasoning behind the state's new law requiring certain forms of ID at the polls. Voter ID, he explained bluntly, "is going to allow Gov. (Mitt) Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania."

And here is another example from William O’Brien of NH who is an staunch defender of ALEC.
But that’s exactly what NewHampshire Speaker William O’Brien (R) told a Tea Party crowd recently. As the new laws are already stifling students’ efforts to participate politically, O’Brien confessed that he wanted to make it more difficult for students to vote because they “vote their feelings” — i.e. vote as liberals:

A New Hampshire measure that ultimately failed earlier this year stoked Democratic concerns about the law’s true intentions. The law would have ended same-day registration and prohibited most college students from voting from their school addresses.

New Hampshire House Speaker William O’Brien, a Republican, told a tea party group that allowing people to register and vote on Election Day led to “the kids coming out of the schools and basically doing what I did when I was a kid, which is voting as a liberal. That’s what kids do — they don’t have life experience, and they just vote their feelings.”

PROTEST ALEC
SALT LAKE CITY

Looks like some Occupy groups are doing actions around the ALEC annual meeting in Salt Lake City, July 23-28.

AND ANOTHER ONE:

AND ANOTHER ONE:

Hello everyone,

Since our day of action on February 29th there has been enormous momentum against ALEC. Our actions were critical in raising awareness about ALEC and escalating the pressure on its members to cease participating in this nefarious organization. It moves closer to nonexistence everyday!

Groups that have dropped ALEC since F29 include Johnson and Johnson, Walmart, Amazon.com, Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Kraft, Wendy’s, Mars, Inc., Arizona Public Service, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards Scantron, The National Association of Charter School Authorizers, Kaplan, Procter & Gamble, Yum! Brands, five Pennsylvania legislators, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Elsevier, American, Intuit, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

We have been in contact with organizers in Salt Lake City and want to encourage folks to connect with them about the national mobilization that will coincide with ALEC's annual meeting from July 23rd to the 28th. We need to keep the pressure up to continue to challenge this organization and build our movement for systemic change. You can find all the relevant information at their national call-out website:

http://www.peacefuluprising.org/national-call-to-action-alec-in-slc-july-23-28-20120508

Thanks again for all your great work! Our resistance is growing. See you in Salt Lake City,
