Mark Amodei – Nevada
This guy was brought to my attention this afternoon by an article I read and I thought I would do some research on him.
NOTE from Sunday:
Secretary of State Ross Miller predicts a paltry 25 percent to 30 percent turnout for the election. Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
NOTE from Monday:
Secretary of State Ross Miller predicts a paltry 25 percent to 30 percent turnout for the election. Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
NOTE from Monday:
Republican Mark Amodei is considered the favorite to win tomorrow's special election in the Second Congressional District.
PLEASE - Dems and Independents get out and vote for Kate Marshall - PLEASE!!!
He’s endorsed by the NRA – an member of the American Legislative Exchange council (ALEC).
He’s endorsed by Mitt Romney who I have reported earlier is running on Koch money.
He has signed the Grover Norquist No New Tax Pledge – Grover being associated with ALEC for a very long time.
His FEC Report shows that the following ALEC related PACs have given him support for this special election.

A review of his Nevada historical campaign financing from previous years for state offices shows a lot of ALEC participation in his campaign financing – as almost all of his out-of-state money came from ALEC related companies.

and you love adding ALEC members to any legislature you can - state or federal.
This guy walks like a duck, talks like a duck, takes money from other ducks and just may be an ALEC duck.
We have enough trash in the US Congress the way it is – we don’t need any more.
