Kiffmeyer (MN-ALEC) - Still Doesn't Want Everybody to Vote

Mary Kiffmeyer – ALEC’s Minnesota Chair – the person who for years hasn’t wanted everybody to vote.  People do not understand the true history of Kiffmeyer’s ALEC initiated persistent effort to stop people from voting, as noted here.)

As noted below - Kiffmeyer is like a ankle biting dog who grabs onto your pants and won't let go.

Kiffmeyer - is dedicated to the ALEC/Weyrich philosophy of taking away people's right to vote.

It is also important to note this:

We DO NOT have voter fraud in Minnesota .

We have had TWO statewide recounts - TWO - STATEWIDE (one in 2008 and one in 2010).

There is NO EVIDENCE of voter fraud found in TWO STATEWIDE recounts - two years apart.

This past week Kiffmeyer made this statement:

"What opponents said, it's too expensive, it shouldn't be a constitutional amendment," Kiffmeyer said. "So what I plan to do is take the governor at his word ... let's follow through with what you said. Let's work together in the Legislative area, address any concerns that the governor might have, and put together a bill that I believe accomplishes what people want."

Got news for you – ALEC State Chair Kiffmeyer

We don’t want to work with you.

We don’t want ALEC voter legislation in Minnesota.

The Voter ID amendment was put to a vote - DIRECTLY TO THE VOTERS.

THE VOTERS in Minnesota said NO to Voter ID.

THE VOTERS in Minnesota said NO to ALEC.

The citizens of Minnesota have spoken – YOU LOST!  Suck it up and act like an adult.

The citizens of MINNESOTA – not ALEC – have spoken!!!

The rest of us have to put up with loss every time you introduce and pass an ALEC bill – behind our backs.  The citizens of Minnesota have spoken – YOU LOST!  Suck it up and act like an adult.

It doesn’t matter how much the American Legislative Exchange Council promised to pay you to pass this blatantly racist, ageist legislation – the matter has been VOTED DOWN by the CITIZENS.  The citizens of Minnesota have spoken – YOU LOST!  Suck it up and act like an adult.

I hear the latest ALEC fad is easing up regulations on payday loans to hurt the working poor, or fight state renewable energy initiatives to hurt the environment.  More revenues for ALEC Corporate Profit Sector members at the expense of Minnesota citizens and Minnesota’s environment.

When are you going to focus on a jobs bill?

When are you going to pay back the money the state owes the public schools?

Kiffmeyer, when are you going to start working for the citizens of your district - instead of the Corporate Sector Profit members of ALEC?
