This was on the Blog for Iowa site this morning – as they
begin the fight a renewed effort for stronger ALEC “Right to Work for Less” legislation
– brought forth by their ALEC legislators.
What I found interesting about the article was their
petition they were asking Iowans to sign.
Eloquently simple, quick, to the point, and can be used
by anyone/everyone.
Be a good
anti-ALECer.
Just copy and paste this
And then when you see ALEC legislation that is not good
for your state
– send the copied and pasted text in an email to your legislators.
“Instead of putting into the
constitution a bad law that already exists, the House should focus on creating
jobs, strengthening our schools, or tackling any of the other issues facing our
state. Please reject (insert bill #) — we
need our legislature to represent (insert state) , not ALEC.”
Be a good
anti-ALEC-er.
Just copy and paste this - then send it!
ALEC legislators copy and paste extremist, pro-corporate, right-wing legislation from the American Legislative Exchange Council. So you may as well copy/paste rebuttals to their nasty ALEC legislation.
