Why are so many companies still involved with the nastiness that is known as the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC)?

It is all about "ROI"  - Return on Investment.

The answer:

"I would say that ALEC is a good investment

Nowhere else can you get a return that high."

Many times you will see this quote mentioned in print.

But sometime you have to see it with your own eyes - before it really sinks in - that this quote came directly from ALEC.
