It's Too Bad They Didn't Mention ALEC

This shows we still have a lot of education to do with folks about the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) and their nastiness.

Snips from an article on the ACLU Webpage:

Arizona's enactment of SB 1070 set off a number of copycat attempts in states across the country in 2011. There are now five states — Alabama, Georgia, Indiana, South Carolina and Utah — that have passed Arizona copycat laws.

Laws inspired by Arizona's SB 1070 invite rampant racial profiling against Latinos, Asian-Americans and others presumed to be "foreign" based on how they look or sound.

And they didn’t once mention ALEC.

What a shame - what a shame.
