Lonegan (NJ) Trashes Younger Voters

Steve Lonegan Says New Jersey Senate Election Made For Older People And Tea Party
Read this from HuffPo:

"It's older people who are going to be voting," he told an audience member who asked how he'd reach young voters. "Don't be so disturbed that it's more older people who remember what America was 40 years ago and want to keep it that way, rather than the younger people who have been indoctrinated."

He gave the conservatives and constitutionalists in the crowd plenty to applaud. He said American freedoms are "under assault like never before." He criticized what he called the "commie ... I mean common core curriculum," a federal effort to standardize educational requirements. He said Obama's reluctance to approve the Keystone Pipeline System, to bring oil from Canada to the United States, is "destroying our access to real, affordable energy."

Go for it dumbo - rip on the younger generation - becauseyoucan.
Make a real butt out of yourself.
From one of my favorite movies “The American President” – just substitute Stave for Bob.

I've been operating under the assumption that the reason Bob devotes so much time and energy to shouting at the rain was that he simply didn't get it. Well, I was wrong. Bob's problem isn't that he doesn't get it. Bob's problem is that he can't sell it! We have serious problems to solve, and we need serious people to solve them. And whatever your particular problem is, I promise you, Bob Rumson is not the least bit interested in solving it. He is interested in two things and two things only: making you afraid of it and telling you who's to blame for it. That, ladies and gentlemen, is how you win elections. You gather a group of middle-aged, middle-class, middle-income voters who remember with longing an easier time, and you talk to them about family and American values and character.

New Jerseys younger voters should be saying to Steve Lonegan

If you want to talk about character and American values, fine. Just tell me where and when, and I'll show up.

Hope they show up at the ballot box and put this bozo where he belongs
