Another Republican is poised to enter the race for GOP Rep. Shelley Moore Capito’s seat in West Virginia

Ex-U.S. International Trade Commissioner Charlotte Lane told CQ Roll Call on Tuesday that she is “in the process” of getting her papers together

“I feel pretty good,” Lane said. “I am in the process now of raising money. And I have hired a consulting firm. And I think my chances of winning the primary are pretty good.”
Other Republican candidates include:
Former state Del. Larry V. Faircloth
    Former state Sen. Steve Harrison
    Ex-Maryland GOP Chairman Alex Mooney

Charlotte Lane
Charlotte Lane is a verified ALEC Member from
1992
serving on the
ALEC TASK FORCE ON ENERGY, ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Alex Mooney
Alex Mooney      According to the CQ "Roll Call"newspaper, Mooney has moved to West Virginia, and is considering a run for Congress from that state's 2nd Congressional District.

Mooney was State Senator from Frederick and Washington Counties from 1999-2011. He was defeated by Democrat Ron Young in 2010.
Mooney is much more active and dangerous ALEC threat to West Virginia.  He has been an active member of ALEC including
International Relations Task Force Meeting
Federal Relations Working Group Meeting
States and Nation Policy Summit, Washington, DC
Friday, December 4, 2009
Senator Alexander X. Mooney (MD )introduced a
Resolution to Reform Export Control  Regulation of Dual-Use and Defense Items.  Since further clarification  on the issue was needed a  motion to carry over the resolution was made and  unanimously approved. An amended resolution was  introduced and considered at an emergency meeting  of the International Relations Task Force on June  24, 2010 and passed unanimously. This resolution is  still awaiting ALEC Bo  ard approval at the  writing of these minutes.
So the question to West Virginian voters is - will your vote be the one that puts another member of the pro-corporate, ultra-conservative, right-wing extremist American Legislative Exchange Council in Congress representing your beautiful state?

I hope you answer is
West Virginia is NOT OK with ALEC.
